LET THE RECORD SHOW is an award winning documentary that started as a conversation about bringing the history of the red ribbon to the world and grew into a symphony of artists and activists coming together for the first time to share their powerful legacy. 

Through interveiws and archival footage Iconic acclaimed New York City Performers, filmmakers, photographers, playwrights and visual artists share their passion, compassion, pain, and strength in the face of AIDS in the 80s and 90s. Artists who shook the foundation of American culture to create artwork that challenged the status quo, changed patient’s rights,and worked to end gender discrimination.

 

A powerful odyssey into the heart of New York City’s lost bohemia and a poetic look at the collective spirit of activism as well as the social issues in American society that continue to be the American agenda.
